being veganThese days, more and more people are beginning to consider that being vegan may just be the best way to live. There was a time when becoming a vegan was unheard of, almost taboo, I must say.

Still, the benefits and advantages of being vegan are far too many to ignore. In fact, let’s take a look at a few famous vegans and the benefits of being vegan.

Healthy skin – Diets that are rich in plant and water-based foods are sure to result in healthy and radiant-looking skin since they are rich sources of vitamins and antioxidants. X-Files actress Gillian Anderson is living proof of this.

Low blood pressure – When compared to meat eaters, vegans enjoy the benefits of having lower blood pressure due to the low amount of sodium and fat in their meals which improves circulation and lowers blood pressure to boot! Contention for simpler flavors – It’s hard to eliminate meat from your diet at first because you’re so used to it. But it gets easier over time, and before you know it, you prefer simpler flavors over foods with meat and other salty products. Natalie Portman is a long-time supporter of vegan lifestyle.

To complete the list of actors, the rest are Jared Leto, Tobey Maguire, Joaquin Phoenix, Alicia Silverstone, Liv Tyler, Emily Deschanel, and Darryl Hannah. You may also want to check for other celebrity trivia.
